Little things can make a big difference
There have been many articles about the long return to offices as Covid 19 wanes or more correctly, morphs into yet another form.
For decades, those in the tech companies have wooed their employees with gaming rooms, stimulating foods and gyms. Is it not time that all employers took a leaf out of their book? Initiatives do not have to be on a grand scale. Simple measures that make us all feel good can play a part in welcoming people back to a supportive office culture. Particularly so, given the additional measures necessary to keep us all safe.
Better coffee, tea selection, potted plants, treats on TGIF and art on the walls can empathetically play their part at modest cost. The same goes for the washroom where simple upgrades in quality and ambiance will be appreciated.
